Talent Relations Partner

What I do at American Veterinary Group

As a TRP, I connect with veterinarians (or soon-to-be veterinarians) and match them with practices that best fit their personal and professional goals.

I hire Veterinarians for UrgentVet locations across the central and western regions of the United States. Our hospitals are committed to providing high-quality care to sick pets, with a Fear-Free certified staff which enhances our client and patient experiences. The teams include skilled professionals such as licensed veterinary technicians, many of whom have a background in emergency medicine. Our teams foster a collaborative environment focused on animal welfare and exceptional client service.

Who am I?

With over a decade of experience in the veterinary field, I’ve grown from a Vet Assistant to Practice Manager at a large veterinary corporation; to a Practice Manager and later a Regional Practice Manager at American Veterinary Group. I’ve led teams to improve performance, drive revenue, and maintain high client satisfaction, earning 5-star ratings across multiple platforms. Now, as a Talent Relations Partner, I focus on building meaningful connections with prospective veterinarians, leveraging my experience in hospital management and team development to help them thrive in their careers.

3 quick facts about me:
· I have two wonderful children.
· Japan is, so far, my all-time favorite place that I’ve traveled to.
· I’m known by friends and loved ones as a human jukebox.

Why I chose the veterinary field:
From a very young age, I developed a deep passion for caring for animals. This innate love for animals, coupled with my desire to make a positive impact on their well-being, led me to pursue a career in the veterinary field. The ability to help animals, their families, and contribute to the health and welfare of the community drew me to this profession. Over the years, my dedication to animal care and my interest in the medical aspects of veterinary practice have kept me motivated and inspired, and it has been an incredibly fulfilling journey.
