Who am I?
I started my career in veterinary medicine in 2014 as a vet tech student at Blue Ridge Community College in Southwest Virginia. After graduating in 2016 with my AAS in Veterinary Technology I went on to practice as a licensed veterinary technician in internal medicine, oncology, cardiology, and emergency medicine in private practice and other settings.
As a technician I had a special interest in anesthesia, and advanced imaging. I became a team lead, trainer, and department supervisor overseeing internal medicine and ICU. I joined AVG in 2022 as a Team Staffing Specialist hiring veterinary technicians, assistants, and practice managers for our new UrgentVet hospitals.
