Our Hiring Process

Stage 1

Independent Contractor Agreement, W9 Paperwork, and License Verification

Once you have spoken with a Relief Staffing Specialist, they will send you our independent contractor agreement and W9 for you to sign via electronic signature. This will ensure that you are set up as a vendor in our system and that you receive a 1099 from us for your taxes annually. Our Team will review your license status to ensure that it is active and in good standing for the state in which you will practice.
Stage 2

Invitation to Vetcher - Relief Veterinarian Online Scheduling and Pick Up Shifts!

Once we have received all of your paperwork and we have confirmed that your license is active in the state(s) in which you will be practicing, we will send you an email invitation to Vetcher, our online relief veterinarian scheduling platform for UrgentVet. Within Vetcher, you can view all available shifts and place shift requests for days that you are available. The Relief Staffing Specialists will confirm your shifts online and you will receive email and text notifications for your shifts. If you are working relief shifts at our general practices, those shifts will be scheduled directly with the practice manager.
