Who am I?
I started my career in veterinary medicine in 2012 as a vet tech student at Des Moines Area Community College in Ankeny, Iowa. After graduating in 2014 with my AAS in Veterinary Technology I went on to practice as a licensed veterinary technician in general practice, emergency and walk-in clinics working with both large and small animals. In 2019 I moved into the opportunity of managing the practice I was at, and maintained that position for 4 years while expanding into multi-site management plus assisting with operations and training within my region.
As a technician my passions were in the diagnostic process of my patients, anesthesia and team culture. I joined AVG in 2023 as a Team Staffing Specialist hiring veterinary technicians, and assistants for our UrgentVet hospitals.
