As a Senior Team Staffing Specialist with American Veterinary Group and UrgentVet, I lead full-cycle recruitment for key hospital leadership and clinical support roles, including Practice Managers, Shift Leads, Veterinary Technicians, and Veterinary Assistants across both new and established UrgentVet and General Practice locations.

In my role, I partner closely with operational leaders to develop strategic hiring plans, identify top talent, and build high-performing teams that support our mission of delivering exceptional veterinary care. I take pride in creating a positive candidate experience while helping veterinary professionals find opportunities where they can grow, make an impact, and build rewarding careers.

Having worked in a variety of veterinary settings, both corporate and independently owned, I can genuinely say I’ve found my professional home here at American Veterinary Group and UrgentVet. If you’re curious about what makes this team and culture stand out, I’d be more than happy to share my experience with you. 

I grew up in Coconut Grove, Florida, where my lifelong passion for animals first took root. Our home was always full of pets, including cats, dogs, hamsters, rabbits, chickens, ducks, and even horses, so building a career centered around animal care felt like a natural fit from an early age.

I began my college journey at Florida State University as a nursing major (for humans!), but it didn't take long to realize my heart was in veterinary medicine. I started as a Veterinary Assistant, learning the profession through hands-on experience, and eventually advanced into leadership roles as a Shift Lead and Practice Manager. Along the way, I gained experience in general practice, emergency triage, and surgical specialty care, giving me a well-rounded understanding of the veterinary field and the incredible professionals who make it possible.

Today, I combine that firsthand clinical and operational experience with my passion for connecting people to meaningful careers. As a Senior Team Staffing Specialist, I have the privilege of helping veterinary professionals find opportunities where they can grow while partnering with leaders to build exceptional teams that provide outstanding patient care.

I now live in Cape Coral, Florida, with my wonderful husband, Taylor, and our three beloved pups, Lady, Honey, and Ellie. Outside of work, you'll usually find me spending time with family at the beach, exploring new places, or getting lost in a great fantasy novel.
