As a Team Staffing Specialist with UrgentVet and American Veterinary Group, I specialize in recruiting top-tier Practice Managers, Shift Leads, Veterinary Technicians as well as Veterinary Assistants for both our brand-new and established UrgentVet and General Practice locations. My role is centered on building strong, compassionate teams that align with our mission to deliver exceptional veterinary care.

Having worked in a variety of veterinary settings—both corporate and independently owned—I can genuinely say I’ve found my professional home here at American Veterinary Group and UrgentVet. If you’re curious about what makes this team and culture stand out, I’d be more than happy to share my experience with you. 

I grew up in Coconut Grove, Florida, where my lifelong love for animals first began. Our home was filled with a variety of pets—cats, dogs, hamsters, rabbits, chickens, ducks, and even horses—so a career in animal care always felt like a natural path.

I started college at Florida State University as a nursing major (for humans!), but quickly discovered my true passion lay in veterinary medicine. I trained on the job as a Veterinary Assistant and Technician, eventually working my way up to Shift Lead and Practice Manager. Over the years, I’ve gained hands-on experience in general practice, emergency triage, and surgical specialty care.

Today, I live in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, with my wonderful husband, Taylor, and our three beloved pups—Lady Bug, Honey Bee, and Ellie Mae. Outside of work, you’ll usually find me enjoying time with my family at the beach or getting lost in a good fantasy book.
